Corrections by fax...

The faxmachine became obsolete when internet and e-mail was used by almost everybody. But still, the fax is used by some people so, I keep it in order. This week I recieved almost 40 metres of fax, containing all the pages with written corrections of the book I worked on.
Thisis whats left, a box of paper and several empty beercans.

What in heck was the publisher THINKING of? That was just plain ignorant on their part. I am very fortunate the publishers I work with understand it would mean the immediate end of our relationship if they pulled crap like that.

I, too, keep a fax in order and available, but there is no effing way I'd accept galleys via fax. Even though mine does single pages!

Neem een digitale fax, ik heb een gratis faxnummer, de faxer betaalt. Ik krijg mijn faxen via email. Maar ja, nu heb je correcties zonder irritante rode inkt.
